A new visitor to my studio on Open Studio weekend, spied the woven chenille and commissioned me to make this vest.

At last I have finished Hannah’s vest. Custom fit for her. Luscious chenille with a hint of glitz. There’s a turquoise one at my Open Studio this weekend , Nov 23,24.

The making of a scarf

First wind 160 threads, three yards long each.

Then thread the loom with each thread, through the reed, through the heddles.

Wind all onto the loom making sure all is smooth and under even tension

Wind the bobbins.

Start to weave.
